A Look at Described Video

By Scott Meyers

Described Video is the closed-captioning equal for individuals with vision problems. It is a sound track that has the elements of a particular TV program, film or web documentary which includes narration that supplies visual components. The chronicle delivers descriptive on-screen action as it takes place. It includes the actions and look of the characters as well as the surroundings of the characters and exactly what is not communicated with the talking, music and sound. Essentially, Described Video (also known as DV) provides a more concentrated video experience for the blind. The quality of this technology has improved tremendously since inception.

When Described Video is occurring, every component that is included in standard video presentations are included in the audio videos. The descriptions that are the essential element of these videos are created to capture every sound and movement to resemble the picture in audio form. The main storyline is captured by the narration, and also any and every necessary detail to bring the sound to visual for the those without vision. The story and all of its contents are meticulously reviewed to make certain the complete story contents are captured.

The quality of the audio has improved vastly; delivering clarity in narration and exciting added sound exponents that bring the audio video to life. In order to achieve the highest quality in audio delivery, the best narration actors must be sought. Narration experience with sound effects is most desirable and the narrators who can bring this special quality to life are a real bonus to employ.

When deciding to create an effective descriptive video, countless considerations need examination. Make sure the narration of the story can capture every level of excitement that the story contains. With sound effects such as wind blowing, vehicles racing, buildings falling down adding to the sound quality of the description, the sound effects business is certainly a rapidly deveoping trend. The quality of the descriptive video is drastically enhanced by the efforts of the narrator to bring the words to life. To the blind individual, the increased sense of hearing that is entertained by quality audio is an exceptionally enjoyable experience. Descriptive video can bring life to a blind person who wants the enjoyment of watching videos. There is nothing that can compare to actually being able to "watch" a video like everyone else!

An additional advantage to the heightened sense of hearing for the visually impaired is that the voice over business and the powerful narrator will bring quality and quantity to descriptive videos. The voice and the power had in the voice will deliver an unforgettable video experience. A memorable video experience is delivered with a sweet and kind voice.
